AFL announces change to draft rules

AFL Football Operations Manager Adrian Anderson today announced he had written to all 16 AFL clubs to inform them of Draft Changes, which will now apply, following confirmation by the AFL Commission at its last meeting.

Under the new system clubs will be able to trade one or more selection for the selections of another club, without a player being involved in such trades.
