THE Western Bulldogs and major sponsor LeasePlan will part company at the end of this season.
It brings to an end a six-year partnership between the two and leaves the Dogs until the end of the season to come up with a new sponsor to tip more than $1 million a year into the club.
Bulldogs chief executive Campbell Rose was confident the club would be able to find a new major sponsor.
"We are a little disappointed that LeasePlan aren't joining us on the journey but we are very thankful they have taken us this far," Rose said.
"The future is very bright for us on and off the field.
"It's a world of opportunity for us, and it's a world of opportunity for a brand which is a very social responsibility-based brand. We are in a strong position and are now on a search for an equally strong brand to join us on our exciting journey."
