PORT ADELAIDE has received some good news with Kane Cornes and Steven Salopek's shoulder injuries sustained in the five-point loss to North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night not as bad as first thought.
The Power intially feared that Cornes' AC joint and Salopek's dislocated shoulder were long-term injuries but a club spokesman said Monday the pair should only miss between one to three weeks.
Meanwhile, Hamish Hartlett's hamstring will be assessed this week while veteran midfielder Josh Carr will put his hip to the test.
