Cornes, Salopek to miss

PORT ADELAIDE will be without key players Kane Cornes and Steven Salopek for an extended period after the pair suffered shoulder injuries in the five-point loss to North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
Salopek sustained what appeared to be a severe shoulder dislocation in the third quarter after trying to tackle North Melbourne forward Aaron Edwards, while Cornes injured his shoulder after being on the receiving end of a solid bump from former Kangaroos skipper Adam Simpson.
Port coach Mark Williams said the pair would be out for some time.
"The key injuries are Salopek and Kane Cornes and they are very significant for us because they will be very difficult to replace," Williams said.
"Kane has done an AC joint. (But) I don't know (how long he will be out). I am not a doctor. I would say some weeks."
