Cox named top Eagle

WEST COAST ruckman Dean Cox has capped off a stellar season by winning his first best-and-fairest award on Friday night.
Cox managed to play every game in 2008 despite suffering a fractured right foot in round three.
The 27-year-old averaged just over 22 possessions per game - he also had a total of 570 hit-outs for the season as well as taking 126 marks, laying 34 tackles and booting nine goals.
Cox won in a canter from utility Quinten Lynch who finished second some 90 votes adrift on 360 while Adam Selwood finished in third spot for the second successive season.
