Crawford set to return

SHANE Crawford looks set to return for Hawthorn's clash against Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night.
Hawthorn football operations manager Mark Evans said yesterday Crawford was a strong chance to play against the Pies after impressing on the training track.
"We will need to see how Shane goes this week, but he trained really well last Tuesday," Evans said. "His form on Tuesday suggests he will be every chance to play against Collingwood on Friday."
The 33-year-old has managed only seven matches this season because of suspension and knee tendonitis but Evans said there had been considerable improvement in the knee over the past fortnight.
"The longer it has gone on, it has actually been settling down better and better," Evans said.
Stuart Dew (hamstring), Clinton Young (back) and Ben McGlynn (quad) are also chances to earn a recall.
"Stuart has had a really good patch of training now -- the last three weeks his intensity at training has been game-like. If he goes that way again at the start of next week, he would be a good chance," Evans said.
