Crowley to miss most of season

FREMANTLE tagger Ryan Crowley will miss most of the season with a serious foot injury.
Crowley suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Dockers' 13-point win over West Coast last weekend.
Dockers coach Mark Harvey said Crowley was out for the next three months and only a chance to return in the last month of the home-and-away season.
Crowley is the second Docker in two weeks to suffer a long-term injury after fellow midfielder Rhys Palmer suffered a season-ending knee injury in the win over Sydney in round five.
Harvey said Crowley and Palmer may be replaced in the squad by elevated rookies.
"We've got some really good younger players that when they get up and running they may well be able to play senior football quickly, more quickly than we thought," Harvey said.
"Without going into detail, there's four or five names at the moment that we're looking at. Some are on the rookie list but we might need to actually put through some paperwork quickly. That's where we're at."
"Losing the two guys that we have in the last week, they're our power runners and they're right up there with the elite runners and we have to naturally select players that can hopefully fill the void in that area."
Harvey confirmed Andrew Foster was in the mix for selection after impressing in his second game in the WAFL last weekend.
Foster, who hasn't played for the Dockers in 2009 due to a serious back injury, played a full game for the first time this season and finished with 22 possessions and two goals.
""We hold him in really high regard," Harvey said.
"He's only just starting to come back into some form that indicates that he's getting somewhere near selection.
"With the young group that we've got, we haven't got a lot of options. Hence he will be one we consider."
Harvey also said Des Headland (calf) would be available in a fortnight while small forward Hayden Ballantyne (wrist) is three weeks away from playing.
But Chris Mayne (shin stress fracture) isn't expected to play until after the split round in early June.
