July 17th 2008 05:11
FORMER Melbourne coach Neale Daniher will be a part of four-man panel that will select the Gold Coast's development coach.
Daniher will assist in choosing the coach to guide the proposed Coast club's entry into the TAC Cup in 2009 and the VFL in 2010.
Interviews for the role will start in the coming weeks after former Brisbane Lions captain Michael Voss turned down the post to take up a two-year assistant coaching role with the West Coast Eagles.
Daniher will join GC17 bid team members Graeme Downie and Alan Mackenzie and AFL representative David Matthews on the selection panel.
