Dees suspend Sylvia

March 12th 2009 10:33
MELBOURNE utility Colin Sylvia has been suspended for the club's NAB Challenge match against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday after not complying with club expectations.

Sylvia was out late on Sunday night and failed to meet the standard of behaviour in relation to post-game recovery and rehabilitation.

It is not the first time that Sylvia has failed to comply to Melbourne's team curfew, with the with the 23-year-old breaking a 1am curfew and failing to turn up to a compulsory recovery session 12 months ago which resulted in him being hit with a one-match suspension and a $5,000 fine.
