FREMANTLE has announced Steve Rosich as the successor to outgoing chief executive Cameron Schwab.
Rosich, who joined the Dockers in 2004 is currently the club's general manager of strategy.
Prior to taking on a senior role at Fremantle, Rosich was business operations manager at West Coast.
Fremantle president Rick Hart said after an extensive recruiting process Rosich had emerged as the best person for the job.
"During the recruiting process it became evident that our three internal applicants were clearly the best candidates for the job," Hart said.
"Given the process that we have been through, the board of the Fremantle Football Club has no doubt that Steve Rosich is the right choice."
Schwab will finish his time at the Dockers after the Western Derby against the Eagles in round 18.
