Dockers elevate rookies

FREMANTLE has promoted rookies Greg Broughton and Matt de Boer to its senior list.
Dockers coach Mark Harvey said he felt both De Boer and Broughton, who has won three premierships with Subiaco, are capable of handling the rigours of AFL football.
"We'd like to think that they're both exciting young kids," said Harvey.
"We think that they're physically prepared for AFL (and) it just gives these guys an opportunity to press for selection now that they're on our list."
"So hopefully there's more exciting times ahead for those particular players."
Harvey also said the club would request permission from the AFL to play the underdone Garrick Ibbotson (bruised shin), Paul Duffield (broken hand) and Chris Mayne (ankle) in the WAFL this weekend.
