Dockers overpower Eagles
May 2nd 2010 10:33

FREMANTLE has maintained its dominance over West Coast with a come-from-behind 38-point win at Subiaco Oval on Sunday.
The Dockers trailed by 23 points at the eight-minute mark of the second term but banged on the next 11 goals of the match to set up a 17.9 (111) to 10.13 (73) win.
It was Fremantle's fifth victory of 2010 and sixth straight over the Eagles.
For West Coast, the result sees them slip to 1-5 - and to make matters worse for the Eagles - promising young midfielder Chris Masten suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury in the second quarter - while Andrew Embley was reported for his bump on Rhys Palmer in the opening stanza.
Dockers mature-age recruit Michael Barlow earned the Ross Glendinning medal for his 25-possession performance while Paul Duffield (24) and David Mundy (21) were also influential.
Skipper Matthew Pavlich booted five goals while Michael Johnson chimed in with three majors.
Brad Ebert was West Coast's best with 28 disposals while Adam Selwood (26) battled hard.
