Dogs thump Roos

THE Western Bulldogs have thumped North Melbourne to the tune of 70 points at Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs slammed on the first ten goals of the contest before going on to record a 20.7 (127) to 7.15 (57) victory.
It was the Dogs' third successive win and sixth of the season.
The big story to come out of the match was the report of prize Bulldogs recruit Barry Hall for engaging in rough conduct and wrestling Kangaroos defender Scott Thompson in the second quarter.
Thompson sparked the incident by bumping Hall onto the ground while the former Swan was tying his bootlaces.
Hall responded by grabbing Thompson in a headlock and didn’t relinquish his grip as Roos players converged.
Thompson finally managed to get his head free and ended up having his name put in the book for an alleged head-butt on Hall.
Adam Cooney was best afield with 36 possessions and two goals while Brian Lake did as he pleased in defence, finishing with 41 disposals and 22 marks.
Josh Hill kicked four goals while Hall chimed in with three majors.
