THE Western Bulldogs have been dealt a double blow with classy forward Robert Murphy and skipper Brad Johnson ruled out for up to three weeks.
Murphy will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Monday night to remove a small cyst at the back of his patella tendon.
The Bulldogs expect the 27-year-old to miss two to three weeks.
Johnson experienced tightness in his Achilles tendon following a training session on Saturday and is expected to miss matches against North Melbourne, Essendon and Collingwood.
