WEST COAST has registered its second win of the season, accounting for Hawthorn by eight points at Subiaco Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles kicked the first three goals of the final stanza to open up a 25-point lead before withstanding a Jarryd Roughead led fight-back to post a 15.12 (102) to 14.10 (94) victory.
Roughead booted four of his six goals in the last quarter but his efforts were in vain as the Hawks slumped to 1-6.
Josh Kennedy starred for West Coast with a career-best six majors - five of which came in the first half - while Mark LeCras chimed in with four goals.

For Hawthorn, Jordan Lewis - who was a late replacement for Lance Franklin - made the most of his reprieve - racking up 31 touches while Grant Birchall (20, two goals) and acting captain Luke Hodge (22) battled hard.
