SEVERAL West Coast players will be playing for their future in the final eight weeks of the season, according to coach John Worsfold.
Worsfold said he had spoken to several out-of-form players about their performances in 2008 and suggested the club would make at least five changes to its senior list at the end of the season.
Veteran midfielder Chad Fletcher, who is contracted until 2009 could be under pressure to retain his place on the list, while the likes of Jaymie Graham, Mark Nicoski, Brent Staker, Matt Rosa, Ben McKinley and Mark Seaby could all be used as trade bait.
Worsfold said the club would be forced to make a number of changes to its list.
"You have to have three picks in the draft ... (and) we've got a couple of kids who are putting up their hands to be promoted off the rookie list," Worsfold told 6PR.
"Certainly Ryan Davis and Beau Wilkes have got good cases to say they would like to come off our rookie list and onto our senior list, so if we promote those two it means we have to have five players off the current senior list.
"Michael Braun is one ... there are four other players that we've got to have a look at there.
"They are either players that are out of contract currently or by trading for draft picks as well.
"Those things are on the cards to be looked at over the remaining eight weeks of the season but then also when our season finishes we get the chance to really sit down and consider where we are going moving forward."
