WEST COAST has recorded a comfortable 39-point win over Carlton in a practice match at Leederville Oval in Perth on Saturday.
The Eagles set up the victory with a seven-goals-to-two first half before running out 16.9 (105) to 9.12 (66) winners.
Mitch Brown booted three goals while Adam Selwood, Beau Waters, Tom Swift and Nic Naitanui were also instrumental in the win.
Naitanui had his influence quelled Blues duo Robert Warnock and Shaun Hampson in the first half before completely dominating the hit outs and kicking two goals in the third term.
Carlton skipper Chris Judd tried hard all day while Eddie Betts and Ryan Houlihan kicked two goals each.
Jarrad Waite got through his first match since suffering a serious knee injury in round nine last year unscathed while midfielder Marc Murphy collected nine touches and booted a goal in what was his first appearance since undergoing hip surgery in January.
