Fiora cops a week

ST KILDA midfielder Aaron Fiora has been hit with a one-match suspension for striking Collingwood first-gamer John McMarthy during the Saints' 14-point loss to the Magpies at the MCG last Saturday night.
Fiora was hit with a level two striking offence for what appeared to be a punch to the stomach with the panel ruling his actions as intentional conduct, low impact and body contact, which equated to 125 points.
But that rose to 170 because of his previous record, meaning he can accept 127.5 points and a one-match ban with an early plea.
If Fiora challenges the verdict at the AFL tribunal on Tuesday night he is still only facing a one-match ban.
In other tribunal news, Melbourne tagger Lyndenn Dunn was cleared over an incident involving Geelong's Steve Johnson with the match review panel ruling that Dunn's action was a push and not a striking motion.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs' Robert Murphy was cleared over contact with North Melbourne's Brady Rawlings with the panel saying that Murphy made a legitimate attempt to spoil.
