ESSENDON has suffered a major blow ahead of its crucial clash against fellow top-eight contenders Richmond at the MCG on Saturday afternoon with veteran defender Dustin Fletcher a late withdrawal.
Full-back Mal Michael has been brought back into the Bombers' line-up for the first time since round eight at the expense of Fletcher.
Richmond has also made a late change to its selected team with Daniel Connors making way for key defender Will Thursfield.
