COLLINGWOOD looks set to be bolstered by the return of Josh Fraser andl Leon Davis for Saturday's clash against Essendon at the MCG.
Davis was a late withdrawal from the line-up against North Melbourne on Friday night because of ankle soreness while Fraser was given the week off to rest his troublesome knee.
Collingwood football operations boss Geoff Walsh said he expected Davis to prove his fitness.
"Leon's ankle is still troubling him a bit. He's a bit sore but I think he'll be right this week," Walsh said.
Walsh also said that Fraser wouldn't be used in the ruck if he played against the Bombers.
"He's OK in every aspect except the rucking component," Walsh said.
