Fraser to return through VFL

COLLINGWOOD ruckman Josh Fraser will play for the club's VFL side this weekend as the Magpies try to have him ready for the run home to the finals.
Collingwood assistant coach Blake Caracella said Fraser, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury sustained in the Hall of Fame Tribute match in May needed to regain match fitness.
“He's playing in the VFL, he's probably missed three or four weeks now, so he needs to go back and get some condition and fitness,'' he said.
Cameron Wood and Chris Bryan have performed well in the ruck for the Magpies, but Caracella said Fraser was still an integral part of the side.
“He played for Victoria (this year) and played quite well, that's probably the last game he's played fully fit.
“So we're looking forward to (him) getting back and playing well this week.''
