Fremantle hopeful of Gilmore's return

FREMANTLE expects utility Daniel Gilmore will make a full recovery from a head knock suffered at training more than a month ago.
The 25-year-old has experienced constant dizzy spells and lethargy since the knock and has not played a match since June 14 when he lined up for South Fremantle in the WAFL.
Gilmore, who is believed to have post-concussion syndrome, visited a specialist on Tuesday and will undergo more neurological tests to determine when he can play again.
"Daniel has made considerable progress and the club's medical team anticipates a full recovery," the club said in a statement.
"The club is hopeful that Daniel will make a return to full training and playing before the end of the season.
"Daniel will continue to do a light exercise program and be regularly assessed so as to determine when he can return to full training."
