NORTH MELBOURNE forward David Hale has ended speculation about a possible move to the new Gold Coast club by signing a three-year contract with the Kangaroos.
Hale, who was recruited from the Gold Coast, was considered a prime target for the new team which will enter the competition in 2011.
But the 24-year-old's new deal ensures he will remain with the Roos until at least the end of 2012 season.
Meanwhile, skipper Brent Harvey has signed a one-year contract extension, tying him to the club until the end of 2010.
Harvey is keen to play for a couple of more seasons and said he is happy to sign his contract on a year-by-year basis at this stage of his career.
