Hawks demolish Blues

HAWTHORN has maintained its dominance over Carlton with a 50-point demolition at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Hawks set up the win with a dominant first half before running out 16.14 (110) to 8.12 (60) winners.
It was Hawthorn's seventh straight victory over the Blues.
Alastair Clarkson's men are now just two games outside the top eight with a 3-6 win-loss record.
Hawks vice-captain Luke Hodge was superb with 29 possessions while Lance Franklin kicked five goals.
Jarryd Roughead chimed in with three majors while Jordan Lewis (24 disposals) and Michael Osborne (17 touches, two goals) were busy contributors.
For Carlton, skipper Chris Judd and Heath Scotland racked up 30 posessions apiece.
