In the back rule

April 17th 2009 11:16
Can some one please explain the definition of in the back , is the rule there to give a free kick to someone who has been impeded and or been disadvantaged in his persuit of the ball, I would suggest that yes this woulld be the case, BUT how often do you see players that go to the ground or dive into the ball and deliberatley going to ground and someone has come in to keep the ball in or touch them on there way down of which they chose to go to ground and as they are on the ground and can go no further other than to dig a hole and push them further, then how can this be in the back and warrant a frre kick ??????, please check Simon Black free kick second Qtr Collingwood , brisbane simon black was going to ground collinwood player barely touched him , A FREE KICK I THINK NOT

get this soughted out

Barry Hall shoved in back

April 12th 2008 12:24
Why don't the channel 10 commentators look at how Barry Hall suffered his head and wrist injury during the final quarter of tonights game. He was deliberately shove in the back by Darren Glass (23). That's why he was injured. And it could have been far more serious.

The commentators seem to be blind to certain events. Why. And why is such poor behaviour permitted by the umpires.

Competitions

December 2nd 2006 01:36
AFL Central is currently in talks with web designers to develop a trivia competition to take place during the off-season and a tipping competition for the 2007 premiership season.

However, in order for both of these competitions to be viable we need your support.

So would you support the introduction of the aforementioned competitions and what other features would you like to see added to the site.

All suggestions are welcome and will be given due consideration.
