Hille, Selwood cleared

ESSENDON ruckman David Hille and West Coast midfielder Adam Selwood are set to be available for the start of the home-and-away season after the match review panel decided that neither player had a case to answer after their involvement in separate incidents on the weekend.
Hille came under video scrutiny after appearing to lay a heavy bump into the region of Collingwood veteran Shane O'Bree's head during the third quarter of the Bombers' 43-point loss to the Magpies in their NAB Cup semi-final on Friday night.
But the panel ruled that most of the contact made by Hille was to O'Bree's shoulder before minimal high contact was made.
Selwood's report for striking Fremantle' Clayton Hinkley during West Coast's practice match against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval on Saturday evening was thrown out.
The panel decided that Selwood’s contact with Hinkley was with the bicep, rather than the fist, and there was no forceful high contact.
