WEST COAST defenders Brett Jones and Adam Hunter have been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The duo have been booked in for season-ending surgery next week and will not play against Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday night.
Jones requires surgery to correct an issue where cartilage at the back of his knee cap is badly worn, causing swelling which has made it difficult for him to run and turn.
While Hunter requires both a shoulder reconstruction and knee surgery. The 27-year-old has been troubled by worn cartilage at the back of the knee, causing pain when kicking over long distances as well as when attempting marks.
