Ibbotson extends contract

FREMANTLE midfielder Garrick Ibbotson has agreed to a contract extension that will see him remain at the Dockers until at least the the end of 2010.
Ibbotson, who was selected with the No. 26 pick in the 2005 national draft, made his AFL debut in 2007 against Richmond in round 11.
The promising 20-year-old played19 matches in 2008 and earned a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination in round nine for his performance in the club's narrow loss to Carlton.
Ibbotson eventually finished in the top five for the Rising Star award behind the winner, his team-mate Rhys Palmer.
