Jackson free to play against Dockers

RICHMOND midfielder Daniel Jackson is free to play in Sunday's clash against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval after escaping with a reprimand at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.
The 23-year-old was risking a one-game ban by challenging a charge of striking Melbourne skipper James McDonald during last Sunday's match at the MCG.
The tribunal found Jackson guilty of striking but downgraded his conduct from reckless to negligent, which resulted in a reprimand and 80 points towards his future record.
The tribunal's verdict meant that 13.75 points had been shaved off what would have been on Jackson's record had he entered an early guilty plea.
