Jackson to front tribunal

May 18th 2010 03:51

RICHMOND midfielder Daniel Jackson will front the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night to contest his head-butting charge.

Jackson - who was offered a two-match ban for head-butting Hawthorn's Campbell Brown in the final term of the Tigers' heartbreaking three-point loss at the MCG on Sunday - will be risking a three-game suspension.

Carlton utility Jarrad Waite has accepted a two-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Port Adelaide's Jason Davenport.

Fremantle small forward Hayden Ballantyne and Hawks skipper Sam Mitchell have accepted $900 fines for pulling the hair of Collingwood defender Harry O'Brien and Richmond youngster Ben Nason respectively while Melbourne's Matthew Warnock copped the same penalty for making negligent contact with a field umpire.
