ADELAIDE defender Graham Johncock will miss the Crows' round one clash against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday following the death of his mother last week.
Johncock has returned home to Port Lincoln and will attend her funeral on Friday,
Adelaide chief executive Steven Trigg said in a statement that the club will give Johncock all the support he needs.
"Our thoughts are with Graham and the rest of the Johncock family at this difficult time," Trigg said.
“Losing someone in your family, for anybody, is a pretty tough time, so we’ll give Graham all the support and time that he needs.”
The Crows expect the 26-year-old to return to training next Monday.
