Johnson in selection frame

WESTERN BULLDOGS skipper Brad Johnson is a chance to play his 350th game in the round one clash against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium on Sunday despite not playing during the club's NAB Cup campaign due to a calf injury.
Dogs coach Rodney Eade said Johnson pulled up 'reasonably well' from a searching fitness test on Monday in which he battled defenders Ryan Hargrave and Dale Morris.
"I said last week fitness wise he will probably be available to play so it's just a matter of whether we think the training we've got into him is enough to replicate match fitness," Eade said.
"That's a decision that we'll make later in the week."
Meanwhile, veteran Nathan Eagleton will miss the match against Magpies because of a hamstring strain but key forward Mitch Hahn is a certainty to play despite suffering a fractured eye socket in the Bulldogs' NAB Cup grand final win over St Kilda.
Elevated-rookie Brodie Moles is the only newcomer in contention for selection.
