Ling could miss four weeks

GEELONG midfielder Cameron Ling could be sidelined for a month after yesterday's crude hit from Fremantle veteran Dean Solomon during the Cats' 74-point win at Skilled Stadium.

Ling had surgery today for a depressed fracture of the cheekbone and the club reported he will be out of action for 3-4 weeks.
