BRISBANE Lions rookie Pat Garner will miss the entire 2009 AFL season after undergoing a knee reconstruction late last week.
Garner, who was picked up by the Lions with selection No.27 in the 2004 National Draft, missed the entire 2006 and 2007 seasons to reconstructions.
The 21-year-old re-injured his troublesome right knee during pre-season training but neither he or the club was aware of the full extent of the damage until he visited a specialist earlier this month.
