Meesen out for season

MELBOURNE ruckman John Meesen will miss the remainder of season after he was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot.
Meesen pulled up sore after the Demons' 43-point loss to Geelong last Sunday and will require surgery to fix the stress fracture in his right talus bone.
Meanwhile, lively small forward Austin Wonaeamirri has been ruled out for the next six weeks after scans confirmed he had a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee.
Wonaeamirri suffered the injury while playing for the Casey Scorpions last weekend.
