Nathan Ablett Quits Football
January 7th 2008 05:11
Nathan Ablett this afternoon has decided to walk away from his promising football career.
In a brief press conference Ablett announced that he didn't have the desire to carry on at the highest level in 2008.
However he has left the door ajar by not announcing his official retirement.
Ablett will remain on the cats list for 2008 despite not being available to play.
It is believed that he may come back to play VFL football for the cats later in the year after he has some time away from the cats.
Ablett was a member of Geelong's premiership winning team. He played 32 senior games for Geelong and kicked 46 goals.
