New date for NAB Cup GF

THE NAB Cup grand final will be moved forward a day if a Victorian-based club or Port Adelaide earns hosting rights.

That means the final will be held on Friday March 13 at Telstra Dome so long as the Brisbane Lions do not win the right to host.

The decision to move the grand final a day forward was made after the Victorian Goverment made a request for the pre-season decider to be moved from its original March 14 to avoid a clash with the Victorian Bushfire Appeal concert to be staged at the MCG on the same day.
