PORT ADELAIDE has consigned Adelaide to their worst-ever start to a season with a 23-point win at AAMI Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Power trailed by seven points at three-quarter time but banged on five goals without reply in the opening ten minutes of the final term to establish a match-winning break, eventually running out 14.13 (97) to 10.14 (74) winners.
It was Port's fourth win of 2010 while the Crows are winless after six rounds.
Robbie Gray earned the Showdown Medal for his 20-possesion, five-goal performance. The 22-year-old could have finished with a bigger haul but he booted four behinds.
Kane Cornes (29 possessions), Danyle Pearce (21) and skipper Domenic Cassisi (20, two goals) were also instrumental in the win.
For the Crows, veteran Tyson Edwards collected 24 touches while Jason Porplyzia and Kurt Tippett booted three majors each.
