PORT ADELAIDE has been rewarded for its 65-point first-round win over Sydney in the NAB Cup with a home quarter-final against Geelong.
The Port-Geelong quarter-final will be played at AAMI Stadium at 4.40pm (Adelaide time) on Saturday.
The other three quarter-finals have been scheduled for Telstra Dome with the Collingwood-Richmond clash - which will feature the return of Ben Cousins to AFL football - to be played on Thursday night.
Essendon will host Brisbane on Friday night while Carlton and Hawthorn will play at the venue on Sunday with that match starting at 4.40pm.
Meanwhile, the eight first-round losers from the NAB Cup will also play practice matches this weekend.
St Kilda take on the Western Bulldogs on Friday afternoon at Visy Park while Melbourne will play Sydney at the venue on Saturday.
West Coast will play Adelaide at Alice Springs on Friday night while North Melbourne will meet Fremantle in Canberra on Saturday.
