Power faces race against time
July 23rd 2008 23:15
BRISBANE midfielder Luke Power is facing a race against time to prove his fitness for Saturday night's clash against Ricmond at Telstra Dome.
Power is nursing a shoulder injury and did not take part in traning yesterday.
The Lions remain hopeful that the 28-year-old will complete training tomorrow and prove he is fit to take on fellow-top eight contenders Richmond.
Midfielder Jed Adcock (quad) and defender Joel Macdonald (ankle) also face fitness tests, but key forward Jonathan Brown (shoulder) and star midfielder Simon Black (hip) are expected to play after soldiering on against West Coast last weekend.
