Roos bounce back

NORTH MELBOURNE has bounced back from last weekend's humiliating 104-point loss to St Kilda with a 25-point victory over West Coast at Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Roos' 17.14 (116) to 13.13 (91) triumph was their first under new coach Brad Scott and made it the fifth consecutive time they had won the week after suffering a loss by 100 points or more.
It was a disappointing performance from the Eagles who continually turned the football over and also let themselves down with their kicking for goal in the final stanza, booting a wasteful 1.7.
West Coast is now winless after the opening three rounds for the first time since 1987.
Kangaroos skipper Brent Harvey - who mananged just five disposals against the Saints - was instrumental in the win with a career-best 44 possessions, 11 marks and one goal.
Harvey also came close to kicking the goal of the year in the final term but his shot on goal after a seven-bounce dash hit the post.
Daniel Wells showed his class with 33 quality touches, Liam Anthony racked up 27 disposals and booted three goals while youngster Ryan Bastinac kept Eagles star Daniel Kerr to just three possessions in fhe first half.
Matt Priddis was West Coast's most influential midfielder with 36 possessions and 13 clearances, Mark LeCras kicked five goals while Dean Cox played his best game of the season, managing 16 touches, 27 hit-outs and one goal.
