Rumours stop Brownlow betting

BETTING on the Brownlow Medal has been suspended amid rumours Geelong star Gary Ablett Jnr is seriously injured.

The Brownlow medal favourite rolled his ankle during the Cats' 74-point win over Fremantle at Skilled Stadium last weekend and was expected to miss just the one week.

But TAB Sportsbet is not taking any bets on the Brownlow Medal with rumours suggesting that Ablett could miss at least four-to-six weeks.
