Saints job down to four

The replacement for axed St Kilda coach Grant Thomas is a race in four after the club finalised the preliminary interviews today.

The Saints released a statement today saying Sydney assistant John Longmire, Bulldogs assistant Chris Bond, Collingwood's Guy McKenna and Ross Lyon are in line for the sought after position.

The next phase of the interview process will take place over the coming week, meaning St Kilda will be without a coach during trade week.
