Saints may regain trio for Blues clash

ST KILDA is set to be bolstered by the return of three key players for Friday night's crucial clash against Carlton at the MCG.
Vice-captain Lenny Hayes, ruckman Michael Gardiner and small forward Adam Schneider are all expected to be available after overcoming hamstring injuries.
St Kilda football operations general manager Matthew Drain said all three would be considered but wouldn't be guaranteed a place in the side given the Saints have won their past two matches.
"It really comes down to the selectors as to how they see it, which is going to be pretty tight given we've won the last two and it was a pretty good performance up on the Gold Coast (to beat North Melbourne)," he said.
Midfielder Xavier Clarke is also rated a 50-50 chance to return from a hamstring injury but tagger Steven Baker is likely to play again in the VFL as he attempts to regain match fitness after an extended period on the sidelines with a knee injury.
