ST KILDA has ended a two-match losing run with a come-from-behind 35-point win over West Coast at Subiaco Oval on Sunday.
The Saints trailed by 17 points early in the third quarter but lifted and piled on nine of the last ten goals of the contest to record a 13.13 (91) to 8.8 (56) victory.
It was St Kilda's sixth win of the season while the Eagles now have six losses to their name after nine rounds.
Saints acting captain Lenny Hayes led from the front with 35 possessions while Brendon Goddard (30) and Nick Dal Santo (27) were also influential.
Jason Blake and Raphael Clarke held in-form West Coast forwards Josh Kennedy and Mark LeCras goalless. Clarke also generated plenty of run from defence with 21 touches.
St Kilda had nine individual goal-kickers for the match - Stephen Milne the most effective with three majors.
Adam Selwood was West Coast's best with 32 disposals and two goals, Matt Priddis (34 possessions) tried hard while Ben McKinley booted four first-half majors.
