Schammer free to play

FREMANTLE midfielder Byron Schammer is free to play in Friday night's clash against Hawthorn at Subiaco Oval after being cleared of a striking charge.
The 24-year-old was charged with striking Carlton's Marc Murphy during the Dockers' seven-point win at Gold Coast Stadium last Saturday night.
But Schammer's counsel Seamus Rafferty successfully argued the contact made was negligible and did not constitute a strike.
