SYDNEY has maintained its dominance over Richmond with a crushing 55-point win at the SCG on Saturday night.
The Swans set up the win with the first nine goals of the match before eventually prevailing 16.15 (111) to 7.14 (56).
It was Sydney's eighth straight win over the Tigers.
Richmond finished with the same number of inside 50 entries as the Swans but their delivery into the forward line was poor and they were continually punished on the rebound by Paul Roos' men.
Sydney had 10 individual goal-kickers for the match - Daniel Bradshaw the most effective with with four.
Bradshaw's first goal - which was also the first of the contest - saw him him reach 500 career goals.
Ben McGlynn continued his impressive start to his career as a Swan with 31 possesions and three goals after booting five majors in last weekend's win over Adelaide.
The former Hawk could have easily bettered his five-goal haul against the Crows but he failed to make the most of his chances, finishing the night with five behinds to his name.
Jude Bolton (33 disposals) was influential in the middle and was well supported by Jarrad McVeigh (27) and Josh Kennedy (24) while Heath Grundy and Nick Malceski were prolific in defence.
For Richmond, youngster Dustin Martin was impressive with 22 touches, Daniel Jackson and Shane Edwards tried hard while Jack Riewoldt played a lone hand up forward with three majors.
