Tigers elevate Polak

RICHMOND utility Graham Polak's recovery from a life-threatening brain injury is complete with the Tigers elevating him to the senior list.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury when he collided with a tram in June 2008.
Polak was kept on Richmond's senior list for the 2009 season but his AFL future appeared to be in serious doubt.
However, he fought back against the odds to play the final two matches of the season. He was then delisted by the club before being redrafted as a mature-aged rookie.
With no veterans on their list this year, the Tigers were able to elevate two rookies.
"Graham has worked very hard to get to where he is today and he deserves his spot on the senior list," Richmond football manager Craig Cameron said.
"He has come a long way since the accident, and it's a credit to his dedication to the intensive rehabilitation program he went through."
The other player promoted to the senior list was speedster Relton Roberts who was recruited from Katherine in the Northern Territory Football League with pick 38 in last year's national draft.
"Relton will be a very exciting player for us," Cameron said.
"He adds a lot of pace and defensive pressure to our forward line."
