It is arguably the biggest Western Derby in the history of football in WA.
With Fremantle having won a club record seven consecutive matches and finding themselves in the unfamiliar position of fourth spot with two rounds to go and the Eagles leading the competition; one game clear of Adelaide, there is plenty at stake.
Both WA sides are arguably the form sides of the competition, and it isn't out of the realms of possibility that this could be a grand final previer, but there is a lot of football to be played between now and the last Saturday in September.
For so often these derbies have been about bragging rights, but as we all know bigger things are on the line come 2.10pm next Sunday.
So who do you think will win this weekend's Derby, will Fremantle continue on their merry way to eight consecutive wins, or will the Eagles spoil the party and further consolidate their hold on the minor premiership.

On the other hand, West Coast already have a top 2 berth sewn up so do they have the motivation to down the Dockers? Could go either way I guess but my money will be on the Eagles.
