Who will win the exhibition match: Have your say
October 21st 2006 02:37
So often these post-season exhibition matches are an opportunity for players to enjoy an overseas trip and the match itself becomes secondary.
However, tonight's clash between Port Adelaide and Geelong at The Oval shapes as a different prospect with both sides aiming to build some momentum for their 2007 premiership campaign.
Port coach Mark Williams has come out saying the club is "getting a march on the rest of the competition" with its preparation for the clash, while Geelong coach Mark Thompson will use the match as an opportunity to tinker with the club's game plan and assess several fringe players, with the Cats yet to make any delistings.
So there is plenty at stake for both sides.
Who will win. Have your say.
